When we learned about the mission of this pop up coffee service we jumped at the chance to volunteer our expertise to position Groundswell Coffee Company as the go-to mobile coffee shop. Their aim was to serve specialty coffee at weddings, corporate and special events - while providing meaningful employment to people in our community who needed a fresh start.

 
 

Goal

To come up with a brand story and logo that would evoke a minimalist feel while speaking to the humanitarian side of the company. To present to the client visual mockups of their brand and how it can be executed across multiple platforms as well as present a storytelling element to showcase their company culture and the people they employ.

Our approach

When we started our brainstorm we found that the current name didn’t clearly reflect the company’s mission so we made the decision to propose a new name. This was a tall - or dare we say venti - task for us. Luckily, it was met with enthusiasm and spoke to them on every level and thus the brand Groundswell Coffee Company was born.
